Arusha National park
with an areas of 137square kilometers is one of the best small national park in northern Tanzania, it is the best places where you can do both walking and driving safari, located on the slopes of mount Meru which faces the nearby Arusha town "tourist town '' .It has great view of the highest point of Africa the so called mount Kilimanjaro.

The Arusha national park which gets its name from the Waarusha people who live in the area is characterized by four main features, The Momela Lake, Ngurdoto crater, highland forest and the rugged mount Meru.

The Momela Lake, discovered in 1876 by a Hungarian who observed a remarkable number of rhino and hippos, however, these have unfortunately disappeared from the park is the unique and tranquil place to relax while you’re in Tanzania. With more than 350 species of birds, both migrant and resident is among of the few things to be seen there.

Lake Manyara National park
Lake Manyara National park was established in 1960, the parks it self is 330 square Kilometres in size of which 200square kilometres is covered by water ( lake) .It stretch for 50km along the Great Rift Valley escarpment it offer a virtual microcosm of the Tanzania safari experience.

Lake Manyara National park is located 120 kilometers west of Arusha town, on the way to Ngorongoro crater.

It can be reached by using road, charter or scheduled flight from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport, en route to Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park.

Things to be done:
Walking safari, game drives, canoeing, and Cultural tour and Mountain bike tour on the escapement outside the park.

The most famous spectacle in this park are Tree climbing lions, Elephants , bushbuck, waterbuck, baboons, aardvark, civet, the shy pangolin and leopard , buffalo and hippo, giraffe, impala, zebra .

Lake Manyara itself is a magnet for birdlife and a kaleidoscope of different species can be found around its shores, including huge flocks of flamingoes.
Facilities: Campsites, tented camp and lodges out side the park along Mto WA Mbu Village, guest house near the park are also offer a comfortable accommodation.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro conservation area is the largest area established as a separate conservation area in 1959, it covers about 8400square kilometers including the volcanic highlands .It stretches from Lake Manyara in the east, Lake Natron in the north east and Lake Eyasi in the south. They area includes four main features, which are the crater, lakes and mountain.

Crater - Ngorongoro crater, Olmoti and Empakai crater
Lakes - Lake Natron, Lake Magadi Soda.
Mountain - Oldonyo lengai (mountain of God) -Still active volcano.
Forest -Vast forested highlands and the famous Olduvai Gorge. It is Olduvai where anthropologist Dr. Leakey discovered the skull of the early man "Australopithecus" "Ngorongoro Crater" This is the largest unbroken caldera in the world with an area of 260square kilometers .The crater which measures 20kilometres in diameter. Sometimes has the impression that from the crater rim the animals are within touching distance. The crater floor is full of big and small wild animals which are resident mammals.

With it's beautifully view, fascinating concentration of the resident mammals and birdlife in the highland forest make it to be named “The 8th Natural wonder of the world " formed after a massive volcanic eruption.

One can visit crater any time of the year , but the best season is July to October and December to March .It can be reached by 4wd .the road from Arusha town to the Olduare gate is tarmac which cover about 190km via Mto wa mbu and Karatu village .


Serengeti National Park
The name "Serengeti" origin comes from Maasai words Siringeti, which means ``Endless plain". With an areas of 14750square kilometres,the Serengeti national park is renowned for its wealth of lion ,leopard and rhino and many more ,this make it to be seen as the World greatest wildlife sanctuary.
Serengeti national park is the largest reserve in Tanzania after the Selous game reserve in the southern part of Tanzania, It is continuation of the smaller Maasai Mara in the North of Kenya Serengeti national park is boarded with highlands plateau of the Ngorongoro in the south, lake Victoria in the west in the form of corridor, To the North with Maasai Mara, The altitude varies between 1000 and 1900metres above the sea level.

Serengeti national park it has variety of environments as wide grass plains to the south, Acacia savannah in central region, densely wooded hilltop the north and vast woodland area with mountains overlooking the plains to the western corridor .It also characterized with the famous kopjes that gives a feeling of infinite variety and incomparable wildness.

According to the season, the Serengeti national park changes from a rich fertile land to desolate Wilderness, causing the spectacular migration of the wilderbeest.The best season for visiting this park is from May to July and December to February. It can be reached by road from Arusha via Ngorongoro conservation area and by charter or scheduled flight every day from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
Facilities, Campsite, Tented camp, lodges inside and outside the park Animal to be seen there are Wildebeest, lions, leopards, cheetah, zebra, gazelles, Giraffe, jackals, elephant, wild dogs, buffalos and many more. The so called incredible wildebeest migration "is the great phenomenons contribute a lot to the reputation of Serengeti and its ecosystem.

Serengeti National Park
Tarangire national park is in the northern part of Tanzania with an area of 2600 sq km which is considered as main wildlife refuges in the country .It was named after the Tarangire River ,which has its sources in the Kondoa mountains in the centre of the country ,and which crosses the whole park lengthwise from North to south. It lies along the Dodoma road 120km from Arusha town; it can be reached by car.

The Tarangire river which crosses the park lengthwise ,giving support to a large wildlife population during the dry season between June and October, this park is characterized with nine different areas of vegetation ,and in places there is a large predominance of baobab trees. They are also plenty of flat-topped acacia trees which provide ideal grazing for thousands of animals including herds of Elephants ,wildebeest ,Zebras ,Buffaloes, Impala, giraffes, waterbuck, Eland , hartebeest and many more migrate from Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River .

Tarangire Park is a home of about 500 bird’s species, some of the species can be seen on drier ground, rocks and some is forest.

The best time to visit it is from July to November
